Has my order shipped?

Click the "My Account / Order Status" link to check your orders status.

How do I change quantities or cancel an item in my order?

Click the "My Account / Order Status" link to view orders you have placed. Then click the "Change quantities / cancel orders" link to find and edit your order. Please note that once an order has begun processing or has shipped, the order is no longer editable.

How do I track my order?

My order never arrived.

Click the "My Account / Order Status" link to track your order status. Be sure that all of the items in your order have shipped already. If you order displays your Package Tracking Numbers, check with the shipper to confirm that your packages were delivered. If your packages each show a status of "delivered," please contact customer service for assistance.

An item is missing from my shipment.

When will my backorder arrive?

Backordered items are those which our suppliers are unable to predict when they will have more in stock, but as soon as they do, we will be able to ship the item to you.

How do I create an account?

  1. Click the "My Account / Order Status" link.
  2. Enter your email address.
  3. Select "I am a new customer."

Then simply follow the prompts to complete setting up your account. Your information is NEVER sold to any other company and is kept completely private. Please view our Privacy Policy for more information.

How do I edit my account information?

Click the "My Account / Order Status" link to edit your account information.

How much is my shipping?

Shipping is automatically calculated prior to submitting your payment information. Simply add items to your cart and proceed to the Checkout page where you will be offered Shipping Method choices and their prices.

I forgot my password.

Click the "My Account / Order Status" link. Under the login box, you'll see a link that says "Forgot your password? Click here." That link will send an email to you with your password.

How do I return my product?

I received the wrong product.

If you feel that you have received the wrong product, please contact customer service within 72 hours of receiving the product.

When will my order ship?

Please see each individual item page for more information on the availability of each item. Also, after placing your order, you may click the "My Account / Order Status" link at the top right hand side of our site to track the status of your order. You will receive a shipment confirmation when your order has shipped and tracking information within 24-48 hours of shipment.

International Shipping

Do you ship to my country?

Please create an account by clicking the "My Account / Order Status" link at the top right hand side of our site. During signup we'll ask for your shipping address details including country. If your country is not in the dropdown menu of available countries, unfortunately we cannot ship to your country at this time.

What are my payment choices?

During the checkout process you may choose any of our current payment options and continue to place your order. Please note that we will not ship your order until we receive payment from you.

Q: How do I track my order?

- Please visit: USPS Tracking
Please note that all USPS International First Class Mail does not provide tracking numbers for international packages but do provide a customs form number which we provide to you when we email you that the order has been shipped.

Q: How long does it take for my item to ship?

- Shipping an item depends on the availability of the sunglass you order and the amount of volume we do on a given day. We usually ship between 2-5 days. Your sunglass may take a little longer if it has to come from abroad. Special orders will be noted on the items site specifying it is a special order.

Q: Why is my item taking long to ship?

- As it is in our best interest to ship out an item as quick as possible, sometimes it may take longer to receive your item due to Backorder status due to the popularity of the item you ordered and waiting for it to get back into stock. Also, some of the items that ARE in stock, come directly from Italy and that takes a little longer to ship to you.

Q: Are your sunglasses authentic?

- We guarantee authenticity of all our products (sunglasses). We stand behind the brands we sell and guarantee their authenticity.

Q: What is the difference between B-15XLT lenses and G-15XLT lenses?

- The B15 is a brown lens and the G15 is a grey/green lens. Both lenses allow 15% light through the lens. It also blocks the UV reds and UVB rays.

Q: How can I contact Customer Service?

- Currently, we are only servicing our customers by email (customersupport@shadesdaddy.com) and by our live chat option. You can find the live chat option on the lower right side of our website, which is an Icon that says "Live Chat." Please allow 24-48 hours (1-2 business days) to respond to an email inquiry.

Q: What is a polarized lens?

- Polarized lenses are used in sunglasses to reduce glare from reflective surfaces such as the surface of a lake or the hood of a car. They accomplish this through a process called polarization, much like a venetian blind controls sunlight through a window.

Sunglass Lens Tints

Colors are applied to sunglass lenses to help absorb light as it passes through them. The color you choose is a matter of personal taste, but there are a few important color-related benefits to consider.

  • * Gray lens tints reduce brightness, but do not distort color.
  • * Brown and amber tints reduce glare, including the glare created by the blue frequency in sunlight, which can make things appear hazy. Brown and amber tints distort colors more than gray tints do.
  • * Yellow lens tints reduce the haze from blue light better than browns, so they really sharpen up the view, but they cause more color distortion.
  • * Green tinted lenses reduce glare and help filter out some of the blue light. They provide good contrast between objects.
  • * Rose colored lenses might be a good choice if you participate in water sports or other outdoor activities, because they provide good contrast for objects viewed against blue or green backgrounds.
